The Collaborative is a partnership of more than 20 media, education and community organizations that have agreed to work together to co-produce and coordinate primarily solutions-focused coverage on issues that most impact the residents of New Hampshire. Collaborative freelance reporters also produce original reporting for The Collaborative and with its partners. All of the work is shared with and distributed for publication by the partner organizations and published on The Collaborative’s website

The Collaborative’s content is available for free only to members outlets at this time.

Members include 603 Diversity, The Berlin Sun, Business NH Magazine, The Business Journal of Greater Keene, Brattleboro and Peterborough, The Concord Monitor, The Conway Daily Sun, The Eagle Times, The Eagle-Tribune, The Keene Sentinel, The Laconia Daily Sun, Manchester Ink Link, The Marlin Fitzwater Center at Franklin Pierce University, The Nashua Telegraph, NH Bar News, NH Business Review, New Hampshire Press Association, NH PBS, NH Public Radio, The Monadnock Ledger-Transcript, Seacoast Media Group and The Valley News.

The Collaborative’s community partners include Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire, Citizens Count, Nackey S. Loeb School of Communications, New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute and New Hampshire Humanities.

Collaborative director Melanie Plenda, is a longtime journalist in New Hampshire. Her award winning work has been featured in numerous national, regional and local publications.
